Our Baby Unit Revamp!

In April, our baby unit underwent a big overhaul! We ordered new resources, furniture and changed the overall look of both of our baby rooms. We used the Hygge approach for inspiration when planning our new rooms.

Our Ducklings room (0-1's) has gone for a homely feel, with cosy areas and lots of open ended opportunities for the children. There is a soft play are for children who are mobile to climb and explore. Our eating area has low feeding chairs for the children to sit in at meal time.

The Ducks room (1-2's) has a large physical area where children can climb and slide and a home corner for role play opportunities. We have sand and water stations and planned areas out for children to be able to access a variety of resources at all times.
